A grey ware vessel modeled on a Amazonian Indian, the shaved head and fringe is typical of indigenous Amazonian tribes, who wear this hair style, with the head and hair painted red with achiote.
Moche V period Circa 600-700 AD Peru.
Condition Intact, some minor cracking to rim, showing root marks and age encrustation.
