I Recently visited the Fiji Exhibition at Sainsbury`s centre for visual arts at UEA( university of East Anglia Norwich), absolutely fantastic !! I am really really glad I made the effort to see it before the show closed on 12 Feb, a well presented and very informative exhibition with a wide range of pieces drawn from several  museum  and private collections, featuring heavily in the expo are many rare war clubs, important Tapa cloths as well a ritual and utilitarian  objects from Fiji   Tonga and other Pacific islands.

As well as the Fiji Exhibition I was blown away by the permanent collection of art including tribal and ethnographic art on permanent display at the Sainsbury centre for the visual arts at UEA, some of the best pieces of Tribal, Pre columbian, Asian art as well as some modern art that money can buy are in this collection, astonishing quality and displayed in a open and relaxed environment , no photography was allowed at the Fiji, at the permanent collection is ok to take photos and many can be found online anyway.  I would certainly urge anyone who has not visited this permanent collection to do so as its simply stunning!!
