A Large Aboriginal Churinga or Djuringa with stone carved design
This fine large example of a Churinga with incised geometric decoration of on one face would have been hand carved with stone implements for use in sacred ceremonies.
Churingas are stored in a sacred places such as caves and only brought out during ritual or religious ceremonies.
Location: Western Australia regions.
