Manuel Eduardo Nieto was an Ecuadorian watercolor artist. His known works date to the 1950s and 60s, and consist of indigenous themes and landscape scenes from Ecuador and Colombia. He is considered one of the Latin-American watercolor masters along with Jorge Carcaballo, Carlos Fandio and Gustavo Rojas Peres
