A pair of Antique Tibetan Silver Turquoise earrings Younghusband collection 19th century .
Size L 3 1/4 8 cm.
Period: 19th century.
These artifacts are part of the Francis young husband collection brought to the UK from Tibet after the 1903-4 expedition and invasion of Tibet by the British.
Most of the material from this collection including many photos and artifacts were sold at auction in the UK in 2012-2013 by a young-husband descendant and now resides in various museums and collections, these items were acquired at the auction sales and subsequently from the estate a deceased collector.
