Description
This beautiful large pyramidal antique silver hairpin was made by the Hmong from the mountains of northern Laos.
Finely made with filigree decoration in traditional Hmong design
The pin was worn my Hmong tribal women on special occasions,
the hollow interior and was often used for storing small quantities of opium or other valuable items.
A rare exceptional quality and beautiful artifact.
