Fine Indonesian antique Ikat cloth from sulawesi Indonesia
A antique woven Ikat cloth made using hand spun natural dyed cotton yarn on the island of Sulawesi.
Comprising of 3 panels sewn together to form a larger cloth a technique often used in older ikat textiles from the region.
With central panel featuring stylized animal and human figures,
mirrored on each side by two panels with star patterns geometric and architectural motives.
This rare textile was made using advanced traditional dying and weaving techniques
a textile art form that has made these rare textiles sought after and appreciated world wide
