A rare pair of Ming dynasty tomb figure of porters or court attendants.
The figures of mature portly gentlemen with serene countenances clothed in long flowing robes,
carrying yokes and burden. Raised on hexagonal bases, the pottery glazed in green and brown.
Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 CE) .
Dimensions: H 34 cm 13 1 /2 inches.
Condition: Fine condition with no restorations showing archaeological patina and encrustations commensurate with age.
